    When I bought it (used), the Lusso boiler was full of coffee muck indeed. I had the machine serviced and upgraded completely, well lubed and then it never happened again, but I agree the risk would be there.

    Woah, that fellini move is quite compelling.

    I would love to experiment with it, but I'm terrified of getting the proverbial muck in the boiler.

    Unless... it was low risk for that happening I wouldn't want to do that.
