L1p.

Correct me if I am wrong, you can control pre infusion pressure by controlling inline water pressure on the L1p , correct. Typically 3 bars from city line pressure. Where as on the old L1 you could only get boiler pressure( 1.5 bars) is this correct? So I am assuming internally plumbing changed from L1 to L1p . Which L1p and the new R are plumbed the same in regards to being able to control PI pressure. R just uses pump .

  • hi darin

thats right. boiler pressure is hopeless for modern light roasts so we have changed the design to allow provide greater pre-infusion pressure

the L1/2/3 are all the same design, just different lengths of the same sausage

the LR is delivering the benefits of the L1 design without the need to plumb in & it is also considerably smaller

    kind regards
