That's pretty cool, though it doesn't strike me as a "portable" machine I respect your dedication. Any secret tips to move easier? (e.g. rolling cart etc.)
I usually take the little La Pavoni when I need to leave my house but the L-R made it easy to pull shot after consistent shot for the entire group. I did not bring milk ;-) so even those who normally would prefer cappuccinos now had espressos and they loved it. One preferred a larger shot so for him I first pulled sone hot water from the L-R's hot water tap which cooled a bit while I ground the beans and then I pulled the shot into the water, worked very well too.
If this happened more frequently I'd get a rolling flight case made to size but I don't do it that much. Now, just carrying it into the car and then from the car into the building was enough (and back).
