Lubing the ball joints

I've seen the guide on lubing the toggles, but what about the ball joints themselves on the steam wand and hot water port? Just a tiny bit of loxeal on the ball?

perhaps counter-intuitive, but the steam wand arms are not intended to flop around on espresso machines

you want them to be stiff so you can set them at an angle that works for you and that's more of less where they stay

this way there is no touching the steam wand, and so no chance of getting burnt by the wand

so i dont think its advisable to lube the ball end on the steam wand, but its your machine so do as you please
