Steam tip adaptor

As luck may have it, I got my hands on a Sproline Foam Knife Steam Tip for nothing.
I'd love to try this thing out but it has internal threads.

Is this the adaptor I need to fit it to my L1?

the current production steam wand (which you have) has a metric thread, M8.5 x 1.00mm pitch

Thanks. In that case the adapter wont work as it's the wrong thread.
I'd have to replace the steam wand or go make my own adapter out in the garage with some round stock. But I don't know if I'm THAT curious to try this tip
