I am currently building a new home and will need to store my Londinium I-P for 2-3 months while in transition.

Is there anything that I need to do to prepare the machine for storage other than empty the boiler?

hi justin

i think it is unnecessary to drain it

be sure to take the tip off the steam wand and give it a really good clean to remove all traces of milk residue

when you start it up just leave it on for at least an hour to cook any bugs then flush say 2 - 3 times the volume of the boiler through the hot water wand

having done that blast steam through the wand for a minute say and a couple of long 500mL flushes with the group

and then you should be good to go
