Grinds for the L1

Well I am throughly enjoy my L1. I have been pulling some pretty good shots, however my question is this;
Is it better to have a finer grind and tamp it light or a courser grind and and tamp it heavy?

in my view it is preferable to grind fine and tamp light

Thats what I am finding out. Definitely less room for error... :blink: And def. much better tasting
I am finding that my light roast is less forgiving than my dark...

I think that's true of all light roasts, but the rewards are generally greater for getting it right
