LR - connect to water mains

Hi,

I've connected my LR to the water mains and follow the instructions.

It seems to work fine, though I have two questions:
I've connected the water mains to the pipe connected to the rotary out (one that is circled in the pictured attached).




1. From the instructions I was not clear about the wiring of the rotary - I've removed the rotary and all its wires. I assume this if fine?

2. What about the clear tube that returned water to the water tank? it is still needed - right? should this be routed to a waste funnel?

yes the drain pipe from the expansion valve still needs to go somewhere

if you plumb the machine out to a waste drain you could send it in that direction to connect to the waste drain
