While I love the Wenge wood handles and toggles, the wood in our kitchen is rather lighter. A wood turner friend made these for us using Thuya burr wood. I am absolutely over the moon with the results and thought I’d share here!!

Hi Anita, i can't seem to find your website (on CFUK) as i'm trying to order some towels for my new machine.....btw do you do custom one's as well ? ...i.e. my name say above the Londinium logo...ergo "Rumpelstiltskin's cafe"
Hi Darren I love making the towels personalised, yes! You can find me via Etsy or Insta (Mildred's Bar Towels/Mildred Mittens) and just message me to say what you’d like once you’ve had a look at what I do! Thanks!
PS I hope it is ok to mention here, Reiss, but please delete if you’d rather I didn’t!
I've just replaced my original wenge handles with maple, to freshen up the look of my 2014 machine and to better harmonise with the light wood fittings in my kitchen.
Hey Matthew, would you be able to pass me the details of who made the handles for you? I’ve been after some walnut ones for ages but don’t know any wood turners.

Love the new forum, Reiss 😁
I thought I’d add an update to my thread with the little toggle cover turned from Thuya burr to match my handles 😁
There’s quite a lot of work involved . . .
Those little workers are doing a great job!

They were made by Dave Stephens in the USA. He can be reached on <[email protected]>
You can see his work on Home-Barista.com, on this long thread:

That maple is beautiful 😁 😁 😁
Ah OK I was hoping for someone uk based to avoid the air miles and import duties etc I will keep on the hunt🤗
A friend made these for me, he’s U.K. based :)
I could put you in touch if you’re interested maybe.
